Goals
I haven't written in my blog regularly in a while. I lot has gone done:
I left my job teaching.
I was proposed to (twice).
I've applied for the Ph.D program.
I've struggled to pay my bills.
I'm working on two books.
And that's just the short list.
Recently, I've been kinda lost. I feel like I'm blowing in the wind and I need to be grounded again. I need to renew my vision for my life. So, on yesterday I sat down to work on my goals for the next 10 years of my like.
When I was 22, I worked on a pseudo 10 year plan and God blessed me to fulfill majority of the goals for my life. For some reason I only planned for 10 years. I guess that's how far I could see myself, but now those 10 years are up and I have not real plan. I have a fuzzy vision that doesn't make sense. Two years ago I came to the conclusion that I didn't have a plan because love was in the air and I felt that I was going to get married soon. Well, two years have passed and no one has "put a ring on it." I've been asked in January, but it wasn't right.
So my goals for the next 10 years, in no particular order:
1. Write 3 books
2. Ph.D in Public Administration
3. Certificate in Non Profit Management
4. Get out of debt (pay off student loans)
5. Buy a house (actually a building)
6. Be successful in my Mary Kay business
7. Start a Research & Development Business
8. Own an affordable cleaners franchise
9. Get married
10. Have a baby
That's enough to keep me quite busy.
I'm excited and ready to roll up my sleeves.
