Staycation
I've been home all week!! Well, except for Monday, but I'm off on Monday, so that will make a week of being home. I've been relaxing, cleaning, doing laundry, reading, praying, and working out.
I've also been reading a few good books: Deidre Berry, Evanovich, and I've read The Bluest Eyes by Toni Morrison for the first time.
Now I'm just reading the Bible...Psalms.
I've had the craziest dream last night. Actually it was two dreams that woke me up praying.
The first one involved a good friend of mine who just got married. I don't know much about the marriage, but it wasn't a large gala. Actually in March when she told me she might be getting married, she told me to keep the date opened, but after that I didn't hear anything so I wasn't sure if was a done deal or not. Well anyway, in my dream she was driving back and forth between here and Springfield and on the way home was in a bad car accident. It scared me.
Then my dream switched to me. I can't remember the first part, but the second part was something biting me all over my body. It scared me so much I got up and prayed. It was about 3am. After praying I read the Psalms of David.
Very weird.
There is no other news beside the fact that I've gained 10lbs. UGH!!!! Unemployment can do that do you. You sit at home and eat and watch daytime soaps and all the judge shows and get fat. Thank God I'm working now. I've got to get my body back.
