30 Something

You know, I don't think I knew what the word, "deployed" meant until we went to war. Now when you hear the term everyone knows what it means. Well, I looked it up anyway to get the exact definition and google defines it as, to place troops or weapons in battle formation. I'm not sure why that was important to me besides the fact that I've never actually knew what it meant until a few years ago, but my brother has been deployed to Iraq. My sis called me on Friday and told me the news. I then called him to confirm it with him. Yep, he was doing security in Iraq, 16 hour shifts for the next month. He should be home early July. I can't wait until he comes home. I pray everyday for his safety.
